Key Responsibilities:

• Construction and Repair:
  • Lay bricks, blocks, and stones according to specifications and blueprints.
  • Construct walls, partitions, and other structures, ensuring they are level, plumb, and structurally sound.
• Material Handling:
  • Prepare and mix mortar and other materials to the required consistency.
  • Select and transport materials to job sites as needed.
• Site Preparation:
  • Set up scaffolding and other supports as necessary to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Clean and maintain the work area, ensuring it is organized and safe.
• Quality Control:
  • Inspect work for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as needed.
  • Follow architectural and engineering specifications to ensure compliance with building codes.
• Collaboration:
  • Work closely with other construction team members, including laborers and supervisors, to complete projects on time.
  • Communicate effectively about project progress, challenges, and needs.

• Lay bricks, stone or similar materials to provide veneer facing
• Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
• Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools
