Key Responsibilities:
- Childcare Support:
- Assist with daily activities such as feeding, bathing, and dressing the children.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities, including playtime, arts and crafts, and educational games.
- Help with homework and provide support for learning activities.
- Household Assistance:
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, tidying up play areas, and meal preparation.
- Help organize the home, including managing schedules and keeping track of supplies.
- Transportation:
- Accompany children to and from school, extracurricular activities, and playdates as needed.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children during outings.
- Communication:
- Maintain open and clear communication with parents regarding children’s needs and daily activities.
- Provide feedback on children’s progress and any concerns that may arise.
Tasks
- Change diapers
- Follow parents’ lead with toilet training
- Sterilize bottles and prepare formulas
- Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Bathe, dress and feed infants and children
- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals
- Supervise and care for children
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in childcare, babysitting, or a related role is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, reliability, and a genuine love for working with children.
Preferred Skills:
- Basic knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities.
- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
- Flexibility to adapt to the family’s needs and schedule.
