Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management:
    • Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Manage restaurant inventory, including food, beverages, and supplies, and ensure proper stock levels.
    • Implement and maintain standard operating procedures to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
  • Staff Management:
    • Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff, including servers, cooks, and host/hostesses.
    • Create staff schedules, assign duties, and monitor performance.
    • Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, updates, and training needs.
  • Customer Service:
    • Ensure a high standard of customer service and address guest concerns or complaints promptly.
    • Monitor dining experience to ensure guest satisfaction and service quality.
    • Develop strategies to enhance customer loyalty and promote repeat business.
  • Financial Management:
    • Prepare and manage the restaurant budget, including forecasting sales and controlling costs.
    • Analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements, and implement strategies to improve profitability.
    • Manage cash handling procedures and oversee daily financial transactions.
  • Health and Safety Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
    • Conduct regular inspections of the restaurant to ensure cleanliness and adherence to food safety standards.
    • Implement training programs on health and safety practices for all staff members.
  • Marketing and Promotion:
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and events.
    • Monitor local market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for business growth.
    • Engage with guests through social media and community outreach initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Education and Experience:
