Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and Maintenance:
- Clean and sanitize all areas of the facility, including guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, offices, and public spaces.
- Dust and wipe furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to maintain a clean environment.
- Vacuum carpets, sweep, and mop floors regularly to ensure cleanliness.
- Empty trash cans and replace liners, ensuring proper disposal of waste and recyclables.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, floors, and replenishing toiletries as needed.
- Room and Bed Maintenance (if applicable):
- Make beds and change linens, replacing dirty sheets with fresh, clean ones.
- Fold and organize towels and linens, ensuring they are clean, neatly arranged, and stored properly.
- Inspect rooms for any maintenance issues, such as broken items, and report them to the supervisor.
- Inventory and Supplies Management:
- Monitor and restock housekeeping supplies such as cleaning products, toiletries, towels, and bedding.
- Ensure that cleaning equipment and tools are properly maintained and stored when not in use.
- Report any shortages or damaged equipment to the supervisor or manager.
- Safety and Hygiene Compliance:
- Follow all safety and hygiene protocols, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to safety standards and using personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Ensure that areas are free of hazards such as spills, debris, or obstructions that could cause accidents.
- Customer Service (if applicable):
- Provide a high level of customer service to residents, guests, or patients by responding to cleaning requests in a timely and courteous manner.
- Address any guest or resident concerns or requests politely, escalating issues to the supervisor when necessary.
- Miscellaneous Tasks:
- Assist with laundry services when required, including washing, folding, and distributing linens and clothing.
- Help with any special cleaning or maintenance tasks as directed by the supervisor or manager.

Qualifications:
- Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial work, or cleaning services is an advantage but not always required.
- Skills:
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, techniques, and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical Requirements:

- Capable of bending, standing, and walking for long periods of time.
