Key Responsibilities:

  • General Cleaning:
    • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors in offices, hallways, restrooms, and common areas.
    • Dust and wipe down surfaces, including furniture, windowsills, and light fixtures.
    • Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, floors, and replenish toiletries (toilet paper, soap, paper towels) as needed.
    • Empty trash cans and replace liners, ensuring proper disposal of waste and recyclables.
    • Clean and disinfect high-touch areas such as door handles, elevator buttons, and railings.
  • Floor Care:
    • Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, and vacuums.
    • Perform regular floor care tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and buffing floors.
    • Strip, wax, and polish floors as required, maintaining the appearance and condition of flooring materials.
    • Report any damage to floors, carpets, or other surfaces to management.
  • Building Maintenance Support:
    • Assist with routine maintenance tasks, including changing light bulbs, replacing filters, or performing minor repairs (e.g., fixing leaky faucets, adjusting doors).
    • Monitor the condition of equipment and supplies, ensuring tools and machinery are in good working order.
    • Notify supervisors about any safety hazards, maintenance issues, or repair needs.
  • Waste Management:
    • Properly dispose of trash and recycling, ensuring materials are sorted and placed in appropriate bins.
    • Ensure proper disposal of hazardous waste or materials according to safety regulations and company policies.
  • Safety and Compliance:
    • Follow all safety protocols, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and tools.
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean, safe work environment for all employees and visitors.
    • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and follow safety guidelines when using cleaning agents.
  • Special Projects:
    • Assist with periodic deep cleaning tasks, such as carpet cleaning, window washing, and high dusting.
    • Help with seasonal cleaning tasks, such as cleaning outdoor areas, parking lots, or entryways.
    • Occasionally assist with moving furniture or setting up for events.

Qualifications:

  • Education and Experience:

    • Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed.
