We are seeking a hardworking Vegetable Farm Worker to assist in planting, growing, and harvesting vegetables. The ideal candidate will perform various farm tasks, including soil preparation, irrigation, pest control, and post-harvest handling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plant, cultivate, and harvest vegetables according to farm schedules.
  • Operate and maintain farm tools, equipment, and irrigation systems.
  • Weed, fertilize, and apply pesticides or organic treatments as needed.
  • Sort, wash, and pack vegetables for storage and distribution.
  • Monitor crop health and report any issues such as pests or diseases.
  • Maintain farm cleanliness and ensure proper waste disposal.
  • Work efficiently in all weather conditions.
  • Follow all farm safety and hygiene regulations.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience in vegetable farming is an advantage but not required.
  • Physical Fitness: Ability to perform manual labor, lift heavy loads, and work outdoors for long hours.
  • Skills: Knowledge of farm equipment, irrigation techniques, and organic farming practices is a plus.
  • Work Ethic: Reliable, hardworking, and able to follow instructions.
  • Education: No formal education required; on-the-job training will be provided.

  • Apply the technique of hoeing between the row
  • Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots
  • Hand harvesting vegetables
  • Pack fruits and vegetables
  • Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops
  • Sort fruits and vegetables
  • Weeding
  • Harvest crops
  • Load, unload and transfer crates, supplies and farm produce, livestock and poultry
