Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchen areas, and office spaces.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
• Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste.
• Dust furniture, walls, and equipment.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good condition.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages.
• Follow safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Respond to cleaning emergencies and spills promptly.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down rooms for meetings and events as needed.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a janitor, custodian, or similar role.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery (e.g., floor buffers, industrial vacuums).
• Physical stamina and mobility including the ability to lift, bend, and kneel.
• Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
• Good communication skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
