As an Amusement Park Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience for guests at the amusement park. Your role includes monitoring rides, assisting guests, enforcing park rules, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ride Operation and Safety:
- Operate and monitor amusement rides and attractions, ensuring they are functioning correctly and safely.
- Conduct pre-ride safety checks and routine maintenance inspections.
- Ensure guests adhere to safety regulations and follow proper ride procedures.
- Address and resolve any issues or malfunctions with rides promptly and effectively.
- Guest Assistance:
- Greet guests warmly and provide information about park attractions, amenities, and policies.
- Assist guests with boarding and exiting rides, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally and courteously.
- Park Cleanliness and Maintenance:
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of assigned areas, including ride queues, loading areas, and restrooms.
- Dispose of trash and debris properly, ensuring a clean and inviting environment for guests.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Rule Enforcement:
- Enforce park rules and regulations consistently and fairly, including age, height, and health restrictions for rides.
- Address any behavior or conduct issues among guests to maintain a positive atmosphere in the park.
- Emergency Response:
- Respond promptly to emergencies, including medical situations and ride malfunctions.
- Follow established emergency procedures and protocols, and assist guests and colleagues as needed.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with other park staff to ensure smooth operation and coordination of daily activities.
- Attend regular team meetings and training sessions to stay informed about park updates and procedures.

Qualifications:
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in customer service or a similar role is a plus.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and work in various weather conditions.
- Certifications: First aid and CPR certification may be required or provided.
Working Conditions:
- Work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with varying shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Exposure to outdoor weather conditions and noise from attractions and crowds.
Additional Information:
- This position may require handling cash and operating point-of-sale systems.
