Key Responsibilities:

• Site Cleaning:
  • Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting in construction areas.
  • Remove debris, trash, and leftover materials from the site to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Equipment Maintenance:
  • Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, pressure washers, and scrubbers as needed.
  • Ensure that all cleaning tools and equipment are in good working condition and report any maintenance issues.
• Safety Compliance:
  • Follow all safety protocols and regulations while working on construction sites.
  • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required to maintain safety standards.
• Collaboration:
  • Work closely with construction teams to understand cleaning priorities and schedules.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding site conditions and any potential hazards.
• Final Clean-Up:
  • Assist with post-construction clean-up to prepare the site for handover to clients or occupants.
  • Ensure all areas, including restrooms and break rooms, are clean and stocked with necessary supplies.

Tasks

• Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs
• Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse
• Empty trash cans and other waste containers
• Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings
• Perform safety and security checks
• Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies
• Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
• Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
• Work with minimal supervision
• Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas

Qualifications:
