Responsibilities:

• Plant, cultivate, and harvest fruit crops according to seasonal schedules and farm protocols.
• Prune trees and shrubs to ensure proper growth and fruit production.
• Monitor crop health and identify signs of pests, diseases, or other issues.
• Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and other chemicals as directed by farm management and in compliance with safety regulations.
• Operate and maintain farm equipment such as tractors, sprayers, and harvesting machinery.
• Pack and prepare harvested fruits for market or distribution, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of farm buildings, equipment, and storage areas.
• Repair fences, irrigation systems, and other farm structures as needed.
• Assist with general farm tasks including irrigation, weeding, and soil preparation.
• Follow farm safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in farming or agriculture, preferably with a focus on fruit production.
• Knowledge of fruit varieties, planting techniques, and crop maintenance practices.
• Ability to operate farm machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Physical stamina and ability to perform strenuous tasks in various weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work long hours during peak seasons (e.g., planting, harvesting).
• Basic understanding of agricultural practices, including soil management and pest control.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional agricultural education or training is a plus.
