Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Check-In/Check-Out: Efficiently process guest arrivals and departures, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out experience.
- Reservations Management: Handle reservations via phone, email, and in-person, including modifications and cancellations.
- Customer Service: Provide friendly and professional service, addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Billing and Payments: Process payments, issue invoices, and manage cash transactions accurately.
- Information and Assistance: Offer information about hotel services, local attractions, and transportation options to enhance guest experiences.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of guest information, room availability, and billing details.
- Collaboration: Work closely with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure rooms are ready and guest requests are fulfilled.
- Security Protocols: Adhere to hotel security and safety policies, including managing lost and found items.
Tasks
- Register arriving guests and assign rooms
- Provide information on hotel facilities and services
- Process guests’ departures, calculate charges and receive payments
- Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations and room assignments
- Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
- Provide customer service
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills; proficiency in computer systems and hotel management software.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
