Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Check-In and Check-Out:
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
- Process check-ins and check-outs efficiently using the hotel’s property management system (PMS).
- Verify guest information, process payments, and provide room keys.
- Reservations and Room Assignments:
- Handle reservations by phone, email, or in person.
- Assign rooms based on guest preferences and availability.
- Make adjustments to reservations as needed.
- Customer Service:
- Address guest inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services.
- Resolve guest complaints or issues, escalating to management when necessary.
- Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions.
- Prepare and distribute reports as needed.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions securely.
- Communication and Coordination:
- Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and other hotel departments to ensure guest needs are met.
- Relay important information to other team members and follow up on guest requests.
- Safety and Security:
- Monitor hotel security and report any suspicious activity.
- Ensure guest privacy and confidentiality are maintained.
- Follow emergency procedures as required.

- Register arriving guests and assign rooms

- Take, cancel and change room reservations
- Provide information on hotel facilities and services
- Process guests’ departures, calculate charges and receive payments
- Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations and room assignments
- Clerical duties (i.e. faxing, filing, photocopying)
- Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties

Qualifications:
- Education and Experience:
