Job Responsibilities:

1. Planting and Cultivating:

   • Assist with planting fruit trees or crops.
   • Ensure proper soil preparation and planting techniques are followed.
   • Apply fertilizers and pesticides as necessary.
   • Water crops and maintain irrigation systems.

2. Maintenance and Care:

   • Prune and trim fruit trees or vines to promote healthy growth.
   • Monitor crops for signs of pests, disease, and nutrient deficiencies.
   • Implement pest control strategies (e.g., organic or chemical treatments).
   • Assist in the operation and maintenance of farm equipment (tractors, sprayers, etc.).
   • Weed fields to prevent competition for nutrients.

3. Harvesting:

   • Harvest fruit at its peak ripeness, using proper techniques to avoid damaging the crops.
   • Sort and grade fruits based on size and quality.
   • Transport harvested fruit to packing areas.

4. Packing and Storage:

   • Pack fruit into crates or containers for shipping or storage.
   • Ensure proper storage conditions to extend the shelf life of harvested fruits.
   • Label products and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

5. General Farm Maintenance:

   • Assist with maintaining farm infrastructure, such as fences, storage sheds, and roads.
   • Support with cleaning and organizing farm areas.

6. Health and Safety:

   • Follow all safety protocols, including proper handling of tools, chemicals, and machinery.
   • Wear appropriate protective gear, especially when working with pesticides or machinery.
   • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
