The General Manager of Sales is responsible for overseeing and driving the sales strategies and operations across trade, broadcasting, and other service sectors. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy and Planning:
    • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies for trade, broadcasting, and other service sectors to meet or exceed revenue targets.
    • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
    • Set sales goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales team.
  2. Team Leadership and Management:
    • Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
    • Foster a high-performance sales culture with a focus on achieving targets and providing exceptional service.
    • Provide coaching and guidance to sales representatives to enhance their skills and effectiveness.
  3. Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
    • Develop and implement strategies to retain and grow existing client accounts.
    • Address client concerns and resolve issues to ensure high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
  4. Sales Operations and Performance:
    • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management.
    • Oversee the sales process from lead generation to closing, ensuring efficient and effective execution.
    • Implement and optimize sales tools, systems, and processes to enhance productivity and performance.
  5. Market Development:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and market segments.
    • Develop and execute marketing campaigns and promotional activities to support sales initiatives.
    • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
  6. Budgeting and Financial Management:
    • Develop and manage the sales department budget, including forecasting and resource allocation.
    • Monitor and control expenses to ensure cost-effective operations.
    • Analyze financial performance and take corrective actions as needed to achieve profitability goals.
  7. Compliance and Reporting:
    • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.
    • Prepare and present detailed sales reports, forecasts, and analyses to senior management.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices.

Qualifications:
