 Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting Electricians: Support licensed electricians with installations, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems.
  • Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize tools, equipment, and materials required for electrical projects.
  • Wire Installation: Help with running, pulling, and securing electrical wiring, conduits, and cables.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate tools and equipment safely, including power tools, hand tools, and ladders.
  • Job Site Maintenance: Keep the work area clean and organized, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Basic Troubleshooting: Assist in identifying and troubleshooting electrical issues under supervision.
  • Documentation: Maintain records of work completed and materials used as required.
  • Learning and Development: Attend training sessions and learn about electrical codes, safety practices, and new technologies.

Tasks

  • Load, unload and transport construction materials
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials
  • Perform routine maintenance work
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Help tradespersons, apprentices and other workers as directed

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in construction or a related field is a plus but not required.
  • Skills: Basic knowledge of electrical systems and tools; strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects, work in various weather conditions, and stand for extended periods.
  • Certifications: OSHA safety certification or similar is advantageous.
