Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, scraping, sanding, and patching as needed.
- Apply paint, varnish, stain, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
- Select appropriate paint types, colors, and finishes based on project specifications and customer preferences.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations while handling and disposing of hazardous materials.
- Measure and cut materials for masking and trim applications.
- Ensure that all painting work meets quality standards and customer expectations.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Work collaboratively with other construction team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Clean up job sites after painting is completed, including removing protective coverings and disposing of waste materials properly.
