We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and other materials. Key Responsibilities:
- Construction and Installation: Build, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials, including framing, cabinetry, and roofing.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and dimensions for projects.
- Measurement and Cutting: Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials using hand tools and power tools.
- Project Management: Oversee specific projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Maintenance and Repairs: Perform maintenance and repair tasks on existing structures, including replacing damaged materials and fixing structural issues.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety standards and regulations, ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and others on the job site.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other tradespeople, such as electricians and plumbers, to coordinate construction activities and ensure project timelines are met.
Tasks
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
- Instruct apprentices
- Supervise other workers

Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a carpenter apprenticeship program is preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience as a carpenter or in a related field is required, with a minimum of [insert years] years of hands-on experience.

- Strong mathematical skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
