Key Responsibilities:
- Site Preparation and Cleanup:
- Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by removing hazardous materials and debris.
- Material Handling:
- Load and unload construction materials and supplies.
- Assist in the organization and storage of materials on-site.
- Equipment Operation:
- Operate basic construction tools and equipment, such as jackhammers, drills, and saws.
- Assist in operating heavy machinery under the supervision of skilled operators.
- Assisting Skilled Workers:
- Support carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other skilled tradespeople in their tasks.
- Follow directions from supervisors and skilled workers to ensure tasks are completed correctly.
- Physical Labor:
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor as required.
- Be prepared to work in various weather conditions and on uneven surfaces.
- Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Project Support:
- Assist in various construction tasks, including framing, concrete work, and landscaping.
- Participate in team meetings and provide input on project progress.
Tasks
- Load, unload and transport construction materials
- Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
- Pave and rake asphalt
- Clean and pile salvaged materials
- Perform routine maintenance work
- Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites

Qualifications:
