Key Responsibilities:
- Planting and Harvesting Crops: Sow seeds, transplant seedlings, and harvest crops based on seasonal schedules and specific crop requirements.
- Irrigation and Watering: Operate irrigation systems, water plants, and maintain moisture levels as needed.
- Weeding and Pest Control: Remove weeds manually or with tools and assist with pest control measures to protect crops.
- Soil Preparation and Maintenance: Till and prepare soil, apply fertilizers, and ensure proper nutrient levels for healthy plant growth.
- Operate Farm Machinery: Use tractors, plows, harvesters, and other equipment for planting, tilling, or harvesting.
- Handling Livestock (if applicable): Feed, water, clean, and care for animals, including milking cows, shearing sheep, or collecting eggs.
- Repair and Maintain Farm Facilities: Conduct basic maintenance and repairs on fences, barns, and other structures, as well as maintaining tools and machinery.
- Assist with Packaging and Transport: Help package harvested crops or livestock products and prepare them for transport to markets or distribution centers.
