Key Responsibilities:
- Landscape Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance of lawns, gardens, and landscaping, including mowing, trimming, edging, and planting.
- Grounds Cleaning: Perform regular cleaning and upkeep of outdoor areas, including picking up litter, sweeping, and clearing debris from walkways and parking lots.
- Seasonal Tasks: Participate in seasonal maintenance activities, such as snow removal, leaf collection, and application of fertilizers and pest control treatments.
- Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment, including lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Irrigation Management: Assist in the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and protocols while performing tasks and operating equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with other maintenance staff and reporting any issues to supervisors.
- Record Keeping: Maintain records of work performed, including tasks completed and any materials used.

- Lay sod or seed
- Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs and trees
- Repair and maintain equipment
- Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens
- Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, or a related field is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of plant care, landscaping practices, and equipment operation.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy objects (up to [insert weight]) and working in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
