 Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Landscape Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance of lawns, gardens, and landscaping, including mowing, trimming, edging, and planting.
  • Grounds Cleaning: Perform regular cleaning and upkeep of outdoor areas, including picking up litter, sweeping, and clearing debris from walkways and parking lots.
  • Seasonal Tasks: Participate in seasonal maintenance activities, such as snow removal, leaf collection, and application of fertilizers and pest control treatments.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment, including lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Irrigation Management: Assist in the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and protocols while performing tasks and operating equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with other maintenance staff and reporting any issues to supervisors.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain records of work performed, including tasks completed and any materials used.

  • Rake and collect refuse
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials
  • Lay sod or seed
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs and trees
  • Repair and maintain equipment
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, or a related field is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of plant care, landscaping practices, and equipment operation.
  • Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy objects (up to [insert weight]) and working in various weather conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
