Key Responsibilities:
- Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and supervise salon staff, including hairdressers, receptionists, and assistants.
- Schedule and manage employee shifts to ensure optimal staffing levels.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and support.
- Customer Service:
- Ensure a high standard of customer service and satisfaction.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer retention and loyalty.
- Financial Management:
- Manage salon budgets, expenses, and revenue.
- Monitor sales performance and implement marketing strategies to achieve financial goals.
- Handle cash management and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Operations Management:
- Oversee day-to-day salon operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming salon environment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including sanitation standards.
- Marketing and Promotions:
- Develop and implement promotional strategies to attract new clients.
- Manage the salon’s online presence, including social media and website content.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the salon is stocked with quality products and tools.
- Inventory Management:
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of products and supplies.
- Order products and supplies as needed to maintain optimal stock levels.
