Key Responsibilities
- Staff Management: Supervise, train, and motivate housekeeping staff, ensuring they adhere to hotel standards of cleanliness and service.
- Quality Control: Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to quality standards; address any deficiencies promptly.
- Scheduling: Develop and manage daily cleaning schedules and assignments for housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Guest Relations: Address guest inquiries and concerns regarding housekeeping services; respond to special requests and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and adherence to safety protocols.
- Budget Management: Assist in managing the housekeeping budget, controlling costs, and finding ways to optimize operational efficiency.
- Reporting: Maintain records of housekeeping activities, including staff attendance, inventory usage, and maintenance requests; report any issues to management.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as maintenance and front desk, to coordinate efforts and enhance guest experiences.

Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in hospitality management is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory position preferred.
- Certifications: Certification in housekeeping management or related fields is advantageous.
