Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management:
- Supervise and lead a team of logistics personnel, including drivers, warehouse staff, and administrative support.
- Conduct training and performance evaluations to ensure team effectiveness.
- Transportation Coordination:
- Oversee the planning and scheduling of transportation activities, including the movement of goods and delivery routes.
- Monitor and manage freight costs and negotiate contracts with carriers.
- Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock.
- Implement inventory control procedures to minimize losses and discrepancies.
- Warehouse Operations:
- Ensure efficient warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and distribution of goods.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify areas for improvement in logistics processes and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Analyze logistics data and metrics to track performance and identify trends.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Conduct regular safety audits and implement training programs to promote a safe work environment.
- Customer Service:
- Work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to address logistics-related inquiries and issues.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management, with supervisory experience preferred.
