Key Responsibilities:

• Child Care:

  • Assist with daily routines, such as feeding, bathing, dressing, and potty training.
• Developmental Support:
  • Encourage social interactions, teach basic skills, and support educational activities.
  • Provide homework help and foster a love for learning through creative play and structured activities.
• Safety and Well-Being:
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, both indoors and outdoors.
  • Handle any emergencies calmly and effectively, administering first aid if necessary.
• Household Assistance:
  • Light housekeeping tasks related to the children, including cleaning play areas, doing children’s laundry, and preparing meals.
  • Help organize children’s schedules, including playdates, extracurricular activities, and appointments.
• Communication:
  • Maintain open communication with parents regarding children’s needs, activities, and any concerns.
  • Document daily activities and milestones as requested by parents.

Tasks

• Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
• Bathe, dress and feed infants and children
• Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
• Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
• Organize, activities such as games and outings for children
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals
• Prepare infants and children for rest periods
• Supervise and care for children
• Tend to emotional well-being of children
• Help children with homework
