Key Responsibilities:
- Safe Driving: Operate trucks in a safe and responsible manner, following all traffic laws and regulations.
- Load and Unload: Secure and transport cargo, ensuring proper loading and unloading procedures to prevent damage.
- Route Planning: Plan routes and schedules to optimize delivery times, considering traffic conditions and regulations.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on the truck, reporting any mechanical issues and keeping the vehicle in good working condition.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance logs.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during transport.
- Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including those related to hazardous materials if applicable.

- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
- Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
- Receive and relay information to central dispatch
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
- Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo

Qualifications:
