We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications. In this role, you will help ensure that patients receive accurate prescriptions, excellent customer service, and proper guidance regarding their medications.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescriptions accurately

Measure, mix, count, label, and record medications as needed

Manage inventory, stock shelves, and place orders for pharmaceutical supplies

Answer customer questions and provide basic medication information (non-clinical)

Process insurance claims and verify prescription details

Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment

Ensure adherence to pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies

Perform administrative tasks, including data entry and maintaining patient records
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a pharmacy technician training program is preferred

Certification (e.g., PTCB or equivalent) may be required depending on location

Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is an advantage

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Good communication and customer service abilities

Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with pharmacy software
Tasks
- Repair, build and modify prosthetic or orthotic appliances or footwear
- Supervise and direct activities of other medical technologists or technicians
- Assemble or build prosthetic and orthotic appliances according to drawings, measurements and plaster casts
- Plan menus and diet for individuals or groups under direction of dietition or nutritionist
- Assist in supervising personnel who prepare and serve food
- Bill third party insurers
- Compound oral solutions, ointments and creams
- Help patients complete menus
- Maintain inventories of medications and prescription records of pharmaceutical products
- Assist dietitians with research in food, nutrition and food service systems
- Clean and restore ocular prostheses
- Interpret physician’s specification
- Advise patients on loss of depth perception
