We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Live-In Caregiver to provide full-time care for our children. As a live-in caregiver, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for our children, including assisting with daily routines, educational activities, and emotional support. The ideal candidate will be reliable, patient, and dedicated to fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere for the children.

Key Responsibilities:
- Child Care:
- Provide attentive and loving care for children, including infants, toddlers, or school-aged kids, depending on the family’s needs.
- Assist with daily routines such as feeding, bathing, dressing, and diapering (for infants).
- Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and physical development.
- Support children with homework and educational activities as needed.
- Health and Safety:
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for the children, including child-proofing areas and supervising playtime.
- Administer medications as directed by parents and handle minor injuries or emergencies with appropriate first aid.
- Maintain hygiene standards and cleanliness in children’s living areas, including their rooms and play areas.
- Household Duties:
- Perform light household chores related to child care, such as preparing meals for the children, doing laundry, and tidying up their spaces.
- Assist with grocery shopping and meal planning related to children’s dietary needs and preferences.
- Communication:
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding children’s daily activities, behavior, and any concerns.
- Provide regular updates and feedback to parents on the children’s progress and any significant occurrences.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Accompany children to appointments, extracurricular activities, and social events as required.
- Adhere to family routines and preferences while maintaining flexibility to adapt to changing needs.
Tasks
- Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
- Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens
- Bathe, dress and feed infants and children
- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
- Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- Organize, activities such as games and outings for children
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals
- Prepare infants and children for rest periods
- Supervise and care for children
- Take children to and from school and to appointments
- Tend to emotional well-being of children

Qualifications:
- Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in child care, early childhood education, or related fields is a plus.
- Proven experience in child care or working with children in a professional setting is preferred.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
- Skills and Abilities:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing situations.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
- Basic cooking and housekeeping skills.
