We are looking for a dedicated Livestock Farm Worker to assist in the daily care and management of farm animals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for feeding, monitoring animal health, and maintaining farm facilities to ensure the well-being of livestock.

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Feed, water, and care for livestock such as cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, and poultry.
- Monitor animal health, recognize signs of illness, and report concerns to farm management or veterinarians.
- Assist with breeding, calving, lambing, or other reproductive activities.
- Clean and maintain barns, pens, and other animal housing areas.
- Operate and maintain farm equipment such as tractors, feeders, and milking machines.
- Move livestock between pastures or enclosures safely.
- Assist in administering vaccinations and treatments as needed.
- Follow farm safety and hygiene protocols to prevent disease outbreaks.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous farm or livestock handling experience is an asset but not required.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy loads, work long hours, and handle physical farm labor.
- Skills: Basic knowledge of animal care and farm operations preferred.
- Work Ethic: Responsible, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Education: No formal education required; on-the-job training provided.

Tasks
- Develop specific plans to prioritize
- Disinfect pens, barns or poultry houses
- Marking livestock as proof of ownership
- Perform livestock feeding
- Perform pig littering activities such as clipping needle teeth, docking tails, administering iron and other medication(s), identification of piglets, and castration
- Treat livestock health issues
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
- Maintain livestock performance records
- Maintain quality control and production records
- Examine product for quality and its readiness for the market
