Painter Needed to work in Canada by A Class Construction Masters Inc.
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying paint, stain, and other finishes to a variety of surfaces, including walls, ceilings, trim, and exteriors. The Painter will ensure high-quality work while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and priming.
- Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes to surfaces, ensuring an even and smooth coat.
- Select and mix paints, stains, and other finishes to achieve the desired color and finish.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Measure and cut materials (e.g., tape, drop cloths) to prepare areas for painting.
- Perform touch-ups or complete re-painting jobs as needed.
- Work with scaffolding, ladders, and other equipment to reach high or difficult areas.
- Follow safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate records of materials used and project progress.
- Collaborate with other team members or contractors on large-scale projects.
- Communicate effectively with clients or supervisors to ensure expectations are met.
- Clean up work areas and dispose of materials safely after each job.
Tasks
- Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted
- Repair cracks and holes
- Mix paint to desired colour and texture
- Advise consumers on colours and choice of wall coverings
- Erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging
- Apply paint, wallpaper and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
- Estimate costs and materials
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Painter or similar role.
- Familiarity with painting techniques, tools, and materials.
- Strong attention to detail and precision.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a variety of physical conditions.
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures for handling paints and chemicals.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification or training in painting or a related field.
- Experience with specialized coatings or finishes (e.g., epoxy, faux finishes).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (for traveling to different job sites).
- Ability to work in a variety of environments, including residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, kneel, and crouch for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials.
- Comfortable working at heights (using ladders or scaffolding).
