We are seeking a skilled and hardworking Pipelayer to join our construction team. The Pipelayer will be responsible for installing underground pipes for sewers, drains, and water mains, ensuring that all work is performed safely, accurately, and according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, connect, and test underground piping systems for sewers, water mains, and storm drains.

  • Grade and level trenches using levels, lasers, and other tools.

  • Align pipes in trenches and secure them together using various joining methods.

  • Measure and cut pipes to required lengths.

  • Backfill trenches after pipe installation and compact the earth properly.

  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.

  • Operate hand tools and small equipment as needed.

  • Follow safety procedures and report any hazards immediately.

  • Assist in site preparation and cleanup before and after projects.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a pipelayer or in underground utility construction.

  • Ability to read and understand construction plans and blueprints.

  • Skilled in the use of hand tools, trenchers, pipe lasers, and other pipelaying equipment.

  • Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor and work in various weather conditions.

  • Good understanding of safety practices in trenching and excavation.

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; relevant certifications are a plus.

Work Environment:

  • Outdoor construction sites.

  • Exposure to varying weather conditions and physically demanding work.

  • Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications
