Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize surfaces, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning products and equipment.
- Collect and dispose of trash and debris, ensuring proper waste management practices.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down equipment and supplies for events or projects.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; dust surfaces; and clean windows as needed.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and reporting any damage or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Respond to urgent cleaning requests and special projects as directed by supervisors.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring everything is in good working order.
Tasks
- Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
- Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
- Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
- Disinfect operating rooms and other areas
- Clean and disinfect elevators
- Handle and report lost and found items
- Provide basic information on facilities
- Pick up debris and empty trash containers
- Wash windows, walls and ceilings
- Clean changing rooms and showers
- Address customers’ complaints or concerns
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or cleaning services preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and perform repetitive tasks.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment.
Working Conditions:
- Work may be performed indoors and outdoors, in various weather conditions.
- May involve standing for long periods, bending, lifting, and working in potentially noisy environments.
