We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious crane operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will operate various types of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment on construction sites and industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Crane Operation: Safely operate cranes, including mobile, tower, and overhead cranes, to lift and transport materials as needed.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and your team.
- Load Management: Assess the weight and balance of loads to ensure safe lifting and rigging procedures.
- Inspection: Conduct pre-shift inspections of the crane and associated equipment to ensure they are in proper working condition.
- Communication: Coordinate with ground crew and other operators using hand signals and communication devices to execute lifts safely.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on cranes, and report any malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of crane operations, inspections, and maintenance activities.
Tasks
- Operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position or place equipment and materials
- Clean and lubricate cranes
- Operate pile driving cranes to drive pilings into earth to provide support for buildings and other structures
- Operate bridge or overhead cranes to lift, move and place plant machinery and materials
- Perform routine maintenance work
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience as a crane operator, with specific training and certification as required (e.g., NCCCO, OSHA).
- Skills: Strong spatial awareness and hand-eye coordination; ability to interpret technical documents and schematics.
- Physical Fitness: Good physical condition and ability to work at heights.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and communicate clearly with others.
Work Conditions:
- Work may take place outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Extended hours, including nights and weekends, may be required.
