Key Responsibilities:

1. Site Preparation and Cleanup:
   • Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding.
   • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by removing hazardous materials and debris.
2. Material Handling:
   • Load and unload construction materials and supplies.
   • Assist in the organization and storage of materials on-site.
3. Equipment Operation:
   • Operate basic construction tools and equipment, such as jackhammers, drills, and saws.
   • Assist in operating heavy machinery under the supervision of skilled operators.
4. Assisting Skilled Workers:
   • Support carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other skilled tradespeople in their tasks.
   • Follow directions from supervisors and skilled workers to ensure tasks are completed correctly.
5. Physical Labor:
   • Perform heavy lifting and manual labor as required.
   • Be prepared to work in various weather conditions and on uneven surfaces.
6. Safety Compliance:
   • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
   • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
7. Project Support:
   • Assist in various construction tasks, including framing, concrete work, and landscaping.
   • Participate in team meetings and provide input on project progress.

Tasks

• Load, unload and transport construction materials
• Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
• Pave and rake asphalt
• Clean and pile salvaged materials
• Perform routine maintenance work
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites

Qualifications:
