Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Operation: Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, backhoes, loaders, and cranes for various construction tasks, including digging, grading, and material handling.
- Site Preparation: Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, grading land, and ensuring proper drainage.
- Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Report any mechanical issues or repairs needed.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and regulations, including wearing appropriate safety gear and conducting pre-operation checks on equipment.
- Communication: Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and other crew members to understand project requirements and coordinate activities on-site.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, equipment usage, and any incidents or safety concerns.
- Site Cleanliness: Assist in keeping the work site clean and organized by removing debris and properly storing tools and materials.

- Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks
- Measure distance, volume, length and weight
- Operate computer controlled equipment
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment
- Secure special attachments to equipment
- Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment
- Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and heavy equipment operator certification.
- Previous experience operating heavy equipment in construction or similar settings.

- Good physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
