Key Responsibilities:

• Equipment Operation: Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, backhoes, loaders, and cranes for various construction tasks, including digging, grading, and material handling.
• Site Preparation: Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, grading land, and ensuring proper drainage.
• Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Report any mechanical issues or repairs needed.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and regulations, including wearing appropriate safety gear and conducting pre-operation checks on equipment.
• Communication: Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and other crew members to understand project requirements and coordinate activities on-site.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, equipment usage, and any incidents or safety concerns.
• Site Cleanliness: Assist in keeping the work site clean and organized by removing debris and properly storing tools and materials.

• Measure distance, volume, length and weight
• Operate computer controlled equipment
• Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment
• Secure special attachments to equipment

• Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license and heavy equipment operator certification.

• Good physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
