Key Responsibilities:
- Installation: Install electrical wiring, outlets, switches, and other electrical components in new or existing buildings.
- Maintenance and Repairs: Inspect and troubleshoot electrical systems, diagnosing and repairing faulty wiring, circuit breakers, and electrical panels.
- Upgrades and Modifications: Upgrade electrical systems to meet current codes or improve efficiency.
- Safety: Follow safety protocols to ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes. Use appropriate tools and protective gear to prevent accidents.
- Testing: Conduct tests on electrical systems and equipment to ensure they operate correctly.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan installations and identify issues.
- Client Interaction: Communicate with clients to understand their electrical needs and explain the work to be done.
- Troubleshooting: Identify electrical problems using specialized equipment and repair or replace faulty components.
