Key Responsibilities:
- Animal Care:
- Feed and water livestock according to established schedules and nutritional guidelines.
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any signs of illness or distress to the farm manager or veterinarian.
- Assist with the administration of medications or treatments as directed.
- Housing and Cleanliness:
- Clean and maintain animal housing facilities, including stalls, pens, and barns.
- Ensure bedding is clean and replaced regularly to maintain a sanitary and comfortable environment for the animals.
- Manage and dispose of waste materials in accordance with farm policies and environmental regulations.
- Handling and Movement:
- Assist with the safe handling and movement of livestock for various purposes, including feeding, medical treatment, and transportation.
- Ensure proper use of equipment and techniques to minimize stress and injury to animals.
- Feeding and Nutrition:
- Prepare and distribute feed and supplements according to dietary needs and farm protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of feeding schedules and any changes to animal diets.
- General Farm Duties:
- Assist with other farm tasks as needed, such as planting, harvesting, or equipment maintenance.
- Support farm operations by helping with the maintenance of equipment and facilities.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Follow biosecurity measures to prevent the spread of disease and contamination.
- Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate records of animal health, feeding schedules, and other relevant data.
- Report any unusual observations or incidents to the farm manager.

Qualifications:
