Farm machinery operator Needed in Canada By JB AND SONS FARM LTD.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Equipment Operation: Operate tractors, combines, plows, seeders, sprayers, and other farm machinery efficiently and safely.
2. Field Preparation and Maintenance: Prepare fields for planting, including tilling, fertilizing, and watering. Perform irrigation tasks as needed.
3. Planting and Harvesting: Assist with planting seeds, transplanting seedlings, and harvesting crops using appropriate equipment and techniques.
4. Crop Care: Apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers according to instructions. Monitor crop health and report any issues to supervisors.
5. Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repair of farm machinery and equipment. Ensure all machinery is cleaned, serviced, and stored properly.
6. Safety and Compliance: Follow safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery. Maintain awareness of environmental and health standards.
7. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of work activities, including field operations, equipment usage, and crop yields.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications in agricultural machinery operation is a plus.
