Groundskeeper Needed in Canada by Cabot Links 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Landscape Maintenance: Perform routine landscaping tasks such as mowing lawns, trimming shrubs and trees, planting flowers and shrubs, and applying fertilizers and pesticides as needed.
2. Grounds Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of grounds, including parking lots, sidewalks, paths, and outdoor common areas. Remove litter, debris, and fallen branches.
3. Irrigation System Maintenance: Monitor and operate irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns. Make adjustments and repairs as necessary to maintain efficiency.
4. Seasonal Care: Perform seasonal tasks such as snow removal, leaf raking, and de-icing walkways during winter months. Prepare grounds for seasonal changes and weather conditions.
5. Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment and tools, including lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and small hand tools. Ensure equipment is cleaned, serviced, and stored properly.
6. Safety and Compliance: Follow safety protocols and guidelines for handling equipment, chemicals, and hazardous materials. Maintain compliance with environmental and health regulations.
7. Reporting and Documentation: Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and inventory of supplies. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.

Qualifications:

• Physical stamina and ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and aesthetics.

Working Conditions:
