Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a bus safely along assigned routes and schedules

• Pick up and drop off passengers at designated stops

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle

• Maintain order and ensure the safety of all passengers during transit

• Obey traffic laws and transportation regulations

• Assist passengers with boarding, especially those with special needs

• Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel, and any incidents

• Report mechanical issues and accidents promptly to the appropriate authorities

Qualifications:

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with passenger endorsement

• Proven experience as a bus driver or similar role

• Clean driving record and strong knowledge of traffic regulations

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to remain calm and responsible under pressure

• Punctual, dependable, and customer-service oriented

Tasks

• Operate buses, school busses or streetcars to transport passengers
• Report delays, mechanical problems and accidents
• Communicate with passengers, dispatchers or other drivers using two-way radio systems
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
