Key Responsibilities:
- Construction and Installation:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures such as frameworks, partitions, and cabinetry.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials using hand and power tools.
- Finishing and Detailing:
- Sand, stain, and finish surfaces to achieve desired appearance and durability.
- Install hardware, including door handles, locks, and hinges.
- Ensure that all work meets quality standards and adheres to building codes and regulations.
- Maintenance and Repairs:
- Inspect and repair damaged structures and fixtures.
- Replace or repair broken or worn-out components, such as doors, windows, and flooring.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure tools and equipment are in good working order.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to safety regulations and best practices to ensure a safe working environment.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with other tradespeople, including electricians and plumbers, to complete projects efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with clients and project managers to discuss project requirements and updates.
- Provide accurate estimates and timelines for project completion.

Qualifications:
- Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual tasks and lift heavy materials.
- Certifications:
- Valid driver’s license.
