Key Responsibilities:

• Crop Management:
  • Assist in planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops according to seasonal schedules.
  • Perform tasks such as weeding, watering, fertilizing, and applying pesticides or herbicides as instructed.
  • Monitor crop growth and report any issues, such as pests or diseases, to the farm manager.
• Livestock Care:
  • Help with the feeding, watering, and care of livestock, including cows, pigs, sheep, or poultry.
  • Assist in the milking of cows, collecting eggs, or managing other daily livestock routines.
  • Maintain clean and safe living conditions for animals by cleaning pens, stalls, and other areas.
• Equipment Operation and Maintenance:
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, such as tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems, as needed.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues to the supervisor.
  • Assist in the repair and maintenance of fences, buildings, and other farm structures.
• Fieldwork and Labor Tasks:
  • Participate in general farm labor tasks, including digging, lifting, carrying, and transporting materials.
  • Help with the setup and maintenance of irrigation systems and drainage.
  • Assist in preparing fields for planting, including plowing, tilling, and fertilizing.
• Safety and Compliance:
  • Follow all safety guidelines and protocols while operating machinery and handling chemicals.
  • Attend safety training sessions and adhere to proper handling techniques for equipment and materials.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment on the farm.
