We are looking for a compassionate, responsible, and attentive Infants Daycare Worker to join our childcare team. In this role, you will provide high-quality care to infants aged 6 weeks to 18 months, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes each child’s physical, emotional, and cognitive development.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and care for infants in a safe and nurturing environment

Prepare and feed bottles and solid foods according to individual schedules
-
Change diapers, maintain hygiene, and monitor health and wellness
-
Engage infants in age-appropriate play, songs, and sensory activities
-
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
-
Record daily observations, including feedings, diaper changes, naps, and milestones
-
Communicate effectively with parents about their child’s progress and needs
-
Follow all daycare policies, licensing regulations, and safety protocols
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or equivalent; early childhood education is a plus
-
Previous experience working with infants in a daycare or similar setting
-
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Warm, patient, and attentive personality

Strong communication and teamwork skills
Tasks
- Bathe, diaper and feed infants and toddlers
- Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children
- Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs and taking children to local points of interest
- Encourage children to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music and physical activity
- Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs and preparing crafts
- Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits
- Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
- Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioural problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians or supervisor
- Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children
- Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children
