As a Groundskeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the landscape and grounds of our facilities to ensure a safe, attractive, and well-maintained environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Landscape Maintenance: Perform routine landscaping tasks such as mowing lawns, trimming shrubs and trees, planting flowers and shrubs, and applying fertilizers and pesticides as needed.
- Grounds Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of grounds, including parking lots, sidewalks, paths, and outdoor common areas. Remove litter, debris, and fallen branches.
- Irrigation System Maintenance: Monitor and operate irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns. Make adjustments and repairs as necessary to maintain efficiency.
- Seasonal Care: Perform seasonal tasks such as snow removal, leaf raking, and de-icing walkways during winter months. Prepare grounds for seasonal changes and weather conditions.
- Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment and tools, including lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and small hand tools. Ensure equipment is cleaned, serviced, and stored properly.
- Safety and Compliance: Follow safety protocols and guidelines for handling equipment, chemicals, and hazardous materials. Maintain compliance with environmental and health regulations.
- Reporting and Documentation: Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and inventory of supplies. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscaping preferred.
- Knowledge of plants, trees, and landscaping techniques.
- Ability to operate groundskeeping equipment and tools safely and effectively.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and aesthetics.
Working Conditions:
- Work primarily outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.).
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor.
- Flexible hours may be required, including weekends and holidays, especially during peak seasons.
