Responsibilities:
- Room Cleaning and Maintenance:
- Cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, suites, or assigned areas according to established standards and procedures.
- Making beds, changing linens, and replenishing towels and amenities as needed.
- Bathroom Cleaning:
- Cleaning and disinfecting bathroom fixtures, sinks, toilets, showers, and tubs.
- Replacing bathroom amenities and ensuring adequate supply for guest use.
- Surface Cleaning:
- Dusting and polishing furniture, mirrors, window sills, and other room surfaces.
- Cleaning and vacuuming carpets, rugs, and upholstery as required.
- Trash Removal:
- Emptying trash containers and disposing of waste in designated areas.
- Sorting recyclable materials and following waste disposal procedures.
- Room Setup and Inspection:
- Arranging furniture and decor to maintain a neat and orderly appearance.
- Inspecting rooms for maintenance issues, damage, or safety hazards and reporting findings to maintenance or management.
- Guest Interaction:
- Greeting guests in a friendly and professional manner and responding to their requests or inquiries.
- Addressing guest concerns and ensuring prompt resolution to maintain guest satisfaction.
- Inventory Management:
- Stocking and maintaining housekeeping carts with cleaning supplies, linens, and guest room amenities.
- Notifying supervisors of low inventory levels and requesting replenishment as needed.
- Adherence to Health and Safety Standards:
- Following proper cleaning protocols and using cleaning agents according to safety guidelines.
- Using personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and maintaining a safe work environment.
Skills and Qualifications:

- Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
- Disinfect operating rooms and other areas
- Clean and disinfect elevators
- Handle and report lost and found items
- Attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items
- Provide basic information on facilities
- Pick up debris and empty trash containers
- Wash windows, walls and ceilings
