Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor restaurant staff to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards.
  • Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Prepare and manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours.
  • Support the development and implementation of marketing and promotional activities.
  • Assist in financial management, including monitoring sales, managing expenses, and handling cash.

  • Monitor revenues to determine labour cost

  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
  • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities

  • Address customers’ complaints or concerns

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within the restaurant industry.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Knowledge of food safety standards and health regulations.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hospitality management is a plus.
