Key Responsibilities:

1. Patrolling and Monitoring:
   • Conduct regular patrols of the property, including interior and exterior areas, to deter and detect suspicious activity or security breaches.
   • Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems, ensuring that they are functioning correctly and responding to any alerts.
   • Inspect doors, windows, and other entry points to ensure they are secure.
2. Access Control:
   • Monitor and control access to the property, verifying the identity of individuals and issuing visitor passes as required.
   • Ensure that only authorized personnel and visitors are allowed entry, and manage access control systems.
3. Incident Response:
   • Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies, including fire, medical, or security breaches.
   • Assist in emergency situations by providing first aid, evacuating premises, or coordinating with emergency services.
   • Document and report incidents, including details of the situation, actions taken, and outcomes.
4. Customer Service:
   • Provide assistance and information to employees, visitors, and clients in a professional and courteous manner.
   • Address and resolve any concerns or issues related to security or safety in a calm and effective manner.
5. Reporting and Documentation:
   • Maintain detailed logs of security activities, patrols, incidents, and any irregularities observed during shifts.
   • Prepare reports on security issues, incidents, and operational status for management review.
6. Compliance and Training:
   • Adhere to all security policies, procedures, and regulations, including those related to the use of force and handling of confidential information.
   • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay updated on security practices and techniques.

Qualifications:

• Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred.

• Certifications: Security Guard License or certification may be required depending on local regulations. First aid and CPR certification are often preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to a specified weight.
• Comfort with working in various environmental conditions, including outdoor settings.

Working Conditions:
