Key Responsibilities:

• General Cleaning:
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, kitchens, and other common areas.
  • Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly.
• Deep Cleaning:
  • Conduct deep cleaning tasks such as washing windows, polishing floors, and cleaning carpets.
  • Address specific cleaning requests and perform specialized tasks as needed.
• Maintenance:
  • Inspect and report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
  • Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
• Safety and Compliance:
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Use cleaning chemicals and equipment according to safety protocols and manufacturer instructions.
• Organization:
  • Keep cleaning equipment and supplies organized and in good working condition.
  • Maintain a clean and organized storage area for cleaning products and tools.
• Communication:
  • Report any issues or concerns to the supervisor or manager.
  • Communicate effectively with other team members and departments to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.

Tasks

• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
• Dust furniture
• Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
• Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
• Pick up debris and empty trash containers
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Wash windows, walls and ceilings
• Clean changing rooms and showers

Qualifications:

• Education and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is a plus but not required; on-the-job training is available.

  • Ability to handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely.
