The Customer Service Clerk is responsible for providing excellent service to customers by addressing their inquiries, processing transactions, and resolving issues. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Assistance:
    • Greet customers warmly and assist them with their needs, including answering questions and providing information about products or services.
    • Handle customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner, working to resolve issues promptly and effectively.
    • Process customer transactions accurately, including sales, returns, and exchanges.
  2. Administrative Tasks:
    • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
    • Update customer information and database records as needed.
    • Prepare reports and documentation related to customer service activities.
  3. Sales Support:
    • Promote and upsell products or services based on customer needs and preferences.
    • Assist with product selections and provide recommendations to enhance the customer experience.
    • Process orders and ensure timely fulfillment and delivery.
  4. Communication:
    • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
    • Provide clear and concise information to customers regarding policies, procedures, and product details.
    • Coordinate with other departments to resolve customer issues and ensure service continuity.
  5. Problem-Solving:
    • Identify and address customer issues, escalating complex problems to supervisors when necessary.
    • Use problem-solving skills to address and resolve service challenges and improve customer satisfaction.
  6. Inventory Management:
    • Monitor and manage inventory levels related to customer service functions, ensuring adequate stock for customer needs.
    • Assist with restocking and organizing products on the sales floor.
  7. Compliance and Safety:
    • Follow company policies and procedures, including those related to customer service, data protection, and safety.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations related to customer transactions and interactions.

Qualifications:
