Responsibilities:
- Assess Client Needs: Work with clients to understand their insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage.
- Sell Insurance Policies: Explain available policies to clients and assist them in selecting the most suitable ones, whether it’s for life, health, property, casualty, or other insurance products.
- Customer Service and Relationship Building: Maintain relationships with clients by offering support, conducting regular policy reviews, and updating them on policy changes or new products.
- Claims Assistance: Guide clients through the claims process by helping them complete forms, answer questions, and follow up with the insurance company.
- Administrative Duties: Prepare and submit documents, manage policy renewals, and ensure all records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Meet Sales Goals: Often, insurance agents have sales targets and are responsible for generating new business through prospecting, networking, and lead generation.
