Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Supervise and manage logistics staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations to ensure a high level of productivity and morale.
- Logistics Operations: Oversee daily logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, and inventory management, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Process Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to improve logistics processes, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, coordinate stock replenishment, and manage the storage of goods to minimize waste and ensure product availability.
- Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and third-party logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation and delivery of goods.
- Reporting: Prepare and analyze logistics reports, metrics, and KPIs to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Problem Solving: Address any logistical challenges or issues that arise, implementing solutions to maintain operational efficiency.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all logistics activities comply with health and safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management, with supervisory or leadership experience.
- Strong understanding of logistics processes, transportation, and inventory management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards in logistics is a plus.
